I’m Betty Sitler and I’m teaching music grades 4-8 at OLS this year.
After being a teacher/administrator in Illinois school systems from 1964-1979, my husband, Harold “Red,” and I moved to Holcombe, WI where we raised our 2 daughters, Candace and Tamara.
I taught regular classes and special ed classes at Lake Holcombe for 23 years, and I retired in 2002. I retired to take care of my husband and help raise my 4 grandchildren. After my husband died in 2012, it was time to return to the classroom as a substitute teacher, and to become a “taxi grandma” for the grandchildren, who have been/are students at OLS.
I moved to Ladysmith in 2017 and love gardening or working in my lawn and flower gardens. Of course, a little traveling, with a friend, is most enjoyable, too.
God has so blessed me, and I’m very thankful for the opportunity to teach here at OLS full time this school year.
