Born and raised in Eau Claire I attended St. Patrick’s Grade School and Graduated from Regis High School.  After serving in the Navy I attended UWEC, graduating with a Broadfield Social Studies degree.  I have earned advanced degrees from UWRF and St. Mary’s of Minnesota.

It has been a blessing that my professional career ended up in Catholic Schools.  After 32 gratifying years in three public systems I retired in 2013.  I then became the President of the Regis Catholic School system that year and retired after 7 years in 2020.  I never imagined that I would come out of retirement again but Dr. Lecheler is one heck of a salesman.  My wife Sandy and I have been married 43 years and live in Eau Claire.  We have three adult daughters and four spoiled grandkids.
